ROUGH OUT COLLECTION

Rough Out reimagines leather craftsmanship by utilizing our Lamba base, applying fine Italian black heat-adhesive foils to the back (flesh) side of the leather.

The foil creates a rugged, vintage-inspired character, with the lighter tones of the Lamba base peeking through the black finish. This design draws inspiration from the historical use of black pigmented finishes over brown leathers, which would wear down over time to reveal rich undertones. However, instead of applying the finish to the top grain, we've flipped the concept—bringing that aesthetic to the sueded flesh side for a fresh yet nostalgic vibe reminiscent of biker, military, and motorcycle leather.

The front of the Rough Out remains the full-grain, tumbled Lamba leather, soft and natural with no added finish. This dual-character leather is ideal for unlined applications, as either side can be showcased: the rugged foil-treated flesh side or the smooth, raw Lamba grain.

With a thickness of 1.1–1.3 mm, Rough Out is perfect for outerwear, jackets, clothing, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, hats, and belts.
