Our Natural Vegetable Tanned Cowhide is a premium, full-grain leather that has always been a foundational part of the EDSIM collection.

Currently offered exclusively in its raw, natural state, this clean leather serves as the perfect blank canvas. It absorbs oils and dyes beautifully, allowing the leather to develop a rich, stunning patina over time that truly stands out to customers. It features a firm temper with a subtle grain break that comes through perfectly when bent, and its smooth grain side makes it a dream for designers to work with.

Designed for maximum yield, these exceptionally large sides average 26–29 square feet. The skins are clean with no wasteful areas, meaning you can easily pull super large panel cuts from every side.

Best used for: Belts, Handbags, Small Leather Goods, Tooling, Trimming, Crafts

Available in 3–4 oz (1.2–1.6 mm) and 5–6 oz (2.0–2.4 mm) thicknesses.
